ATTENTION – There will be another Sushi lunch this Sunday at noon at Ye’s Sushi. If you want to go, email Kyle before 2:00pm tomorrow to make sure you’re counted in the reservation.

And we were having so much fun too, but it looks like, now that Show 4 is over, there’s nothing interesting going on anymore. Hahaha, no. You know us better than that. There’s still Jon’s bonus Show 5, karaoke, sushi, and much more. That’s not all this week, mind you, but don’t think Ctrl-A is slowing down! Here’s this week:

  • Meeting – Monday, March 21, 6:00PM, Room AL 105. Now that show 4 has wrapped up, this meeting may be conclusory in nature. But meetings will continue onward.
  • Project Night – Wednesday, March 23, 6:00PM, Room SLC 2109. Project nights will continue until the end of the term, irrespective of show 4. Come in and join in on all the shenanigans. (Shenanigans may or may not include projects and gaming.)
  • Games Night – Friday, March 25, 4:30PM, Room AL 208. Games night will also continue! See, nothing is over. Everything is normal. Come in and join in on all the gaming. I predict card games, handheld games and possibly board games. Just an educated guess.
  • EROGE PS2 Ver. – Saturday, March 26, 1:00PM-10:10PM, Room MC 2065. Our External Relations Officer, Jon, is holding a bonus show: Show 5, a “sequel,” if you will, to last term’s marathon show of a similar name. All the schedule information can be found here.
  • Sushi Lunch – Sunday, March 27, 12:00PM, Ye’s Sushi. Kyle is putting together another sushi lunch. You must RSVP if you want to go. Email Kyle before 2:00PM tomorrow to make sure you’re counted in the reservation.

That’s all that’s going on in the first “post-show” week of Ctrl-A. Hope you guys have fun with it!

And thus concludes our scheduled card tournaments for this term. Unfortunately, I couldn’t be there, but I hope everyone had a good time. I was too busy being totally awesome and rocking the Boston Convention Center. Moving forward, it’s almost time for show 4, the “last” show of the term! Take note of what is coming up below.

  • Meeting – Monday, March 14. 6:00PM, Room AL 105. It’s meeting time, it’s meeting time. Hey, everybody, it’s meeting time! Time to discuss show 4? I don’t know, I won’t be there. But it should be worthwhile.
  • Project Night – Wednesday, March 16, 6:00PM, Room SLC 2109. Projecting forward, project night. Bring your projects and such. Gaming, etc. You know how these things go.
  • Show 4 – Friday, March 18, 4:30PM-10:00PM and Saturday, March 19, 2:30PM-9:00PM, Room AL 116. And we’re back again with the final show of this term. Many of our continuing series will be concluding, so it should be a spectacle. Schedule can be found here.
  • Meeting – Monday, March 21, 6:00PM, Room AL 105

Further news. You may have noticed that I referred to Show 4 as the “last” show. That is because our External Relations Officer is organizing an unofficial Show 5 entitled EROGE PS2 Ver. This will be occurring on Saturday, March 26 and should be totally awesome. For all the details, click here.

And remember, just because show 4 is this week, that doesn’t mean there aren’t any more events coming up. Stay tuned; we’ve got lots more on the way. Anyway, I’m exhausted from being at PAX East all weekend, so I’ll see you guys later.

And show 3 is a wrap. What did you guys think? With a weekend of epic card tournaments and yaoi elephants, it’s hard to go wrong! We still have more excitement coming up this week. Here’s the skinny:

  • Meeting – Monday, March 7, 6:00PM, AL 105. Bureaucracy is the name of the game, wherein we discuss all things Ctrl-A. Specifically, you can expect talks of how the show and the Chaos tournament went, and the upcoming Weiss Schwarz tournament. Also, Kyle will definitely be wearing a kilt. Everyone needs to lambaste him if he isn’t.
  • Project Night – Wednesday, March 9, 6:00PM, SLC 2109. Project night continues with its projected business this Wednesday. If you have a project you’re working on, don’t hesitate to bring it on by. I’m sure the lovely folks in attendance would love to lend some assistance. Otherwise, expect gaming to be happening.
  • Games Night – Friday, March 11, 4:30PM, AL 208. Oh, how we missed ye. Games night finally makes a return appearance. If you haven’t been gaming for the last two weeks, then here’s your big chance! Board games, card games, video games, all your games! Exciting! (Note: not actually that exciting, but pretty fun.)
  • Weiβ Schwarz Tournament – Saturday, March 12, 11:00AM, AL 208. Fresh on the heels of the Chaos tournament, another TCG tournament rears its head. If Weiβ Schwarz is more your speed, then you should check out this thread on the forums for all the details. If you are interested, be sure to register as soon as possible. Even if you don’t have cards, you may still be able to play, so definitely check it out.

Ok, that’s it for this week. Time for me to go play more iPhone games instead of resting up for my midterm tomorrow like I ought to be doing.
