2. Show 1 recap
High school student attendance may have doubled
60ish people in attendance
Emergency lights were on for the entire show, problem must be resolved in the future
-Bug Randy sooner
-Have a specific plan for dealing with the lights
Too much talking while anime was playing
Lots of new memberships
-Some delay in taking money
Carding people will begin at Show Two
3. Weekday Shows Recap
Policy Discussion: Should carding be done at the smaller shows?
-The shows are CTRL-A events, and should require CTRL-A membership
-Club loses money by not enforcing membership rule
-Some anime companies specify that series should only be screened to club members
-Might lead to interruptions as new people wander in mid-show
-Requires additional equipment: cashbox, membership list
-Requires an Executive for these
-Vice President would like additional Exec volunteers besides himself
Must-Haves for the shows:
Office access
Membership cards
Membership list
Equipment
Cashbox*
An Exec to be responsible for the last four items
Official conclusion seems to be to card people at the door for small shows
*A cashbag to just hold some float for the small shows might be handy instead of leaving the cashbox at the new office and taking it to every show
Old projector is running down, causing some viewing problems
Small show volunteers need access to the new office
Discussion: Move new equipment to new office or get AL 116 access
-AL 116 getting tougher to book
-New office has the potential for lots of traffic but probably about as secure as AL 116
-Is our stuff insured? Can we get insurance from FEDS?
-ERO will find out
-Moving equipment kind of tough, Karl is building a wheeled AV cart
Motion to vote on storing the new equipment in the office (preferably by Tues.)
-Passed with several abstentions
-Vice President has volunteered to help with the moving of the equipment
Show Volunteers (preferably Exec):
Tuesday: E-Comm Officer (Amanda)
Thursday: Matt is trusted
Saturday: ?
Key access needed
Motion to move on: Approved
Weekly Show recap:
Thursday (Matt): Went pretty well, roughly 20 attended, would like an exec volunteer to help out
Tuesday (Amanda): Roughly 10 attended
Saturday (Adam): 15-25 attended
4. Show Two Planning
Schedule
Two alternatives: One with a break for a costume contest, one where the break is essentially replaced by a movie
16:30 Mushishi 3-4
17:15 Tales of Phantasia 2-3
18:15 -=- break
18:25 Chevalier D'eon 3-4
19:10 Kamichu 3-4
19:55 -=- break
20:05 Fate/Stay Night 3-4
20:50 Haruhi Suzumiya 1-2
21:35 -=- break
21:40 Maybe Neo-Tokyo?
22:30 -=- end of show
Or, if we skip the movie and use the time for a costume contest...
16:30 Mushishi 3-4
17:15 Tales of Phantasia 2-3
18:15 -=- break
18:25 Chevalier D'eon 3-4
19:10 Kamichu 3-4
19:55 -=- break + costume competition
21:00 Fate/Stay Night 3-4
21:45 Haruhi Suzumiya 1-2
22:30 -=- end of show
Activities Co-ordinator (Amy) suggests
A cosplay contest
Requirements: participants, judges, and MC, etc.
A cosplay costume supply run: Make a run to Value Village a club activity
For publicity, send an e-mail to the mailing list, announce it on the website
The schedule that includes a break for cosplay approved
Backups in case contest is a no-go: Ghost Stories episodes, Kakurenbo

Activities
Show Two activities covered during scheduling
Suggestion to have an activity outside the show, specifically Laser tag, possibly against another club such as WatSFiC or KonJa.
5. Old Business
Old Equipment
-Kind of flickery, takes about half an hour to warm up
-Reset the timer so it won’t shut down for good automatically
-Best case scenario while using the old projector may be an entertaining explosion
-Try to use new equipment and keep old in reserve
Office
-Accessing it kind of sucks
-Supposedly everything should be fixed by January, but that looks doubtful
-Office hours? No one seems to have held any yet, probably won’t need to this term
Keys
-Getting them kind of sucks
-For key access, contact exec list, any of the exec
Other Old Business
Anime North Trip: send information to ctrl-a@ctrl-a.org, a notice should soon be made by e-mail
No Karl means no cheques
6. New Business
Web Forum: What happened? Users disappeared, a new forum is in the works, will hopefully be up this week before Thursday
Concerns from Amanda can maybe be raised next time as she’s not here today
Jeremy will run a lunch this Saturday
-Will be at the new kebob place in the Plaza
-Other suggestion maybe for another time: the new sushi place at Northfield
-requires several bus transfers or other transportation
-details will be sent through e-comm officer
-might be busier than usual if convocation is next weekend
Ads for Show Two
-Publicity officer needs poster design from ERO
-may be available by Wednesday
Poster Run volunteers:
Laura: Engineering, SLC, Math
Dan: Science
?: Arts
7. Approval of the Previous Meeting’s Minutes
Amend the minutes to show that Gavin and Kaitlan helped move office equipment
Amend the minutes to show that Laura put up posters in Eng, SLC and Math
8. Motion to adjourn, seconded, approved
