Winter break get together?

Hey everyone, how does that sound? A winter break get together in Toronto. Maybe go to a GOOD all you can eat sushi restaurant that doesn't cost and arm and a leg? Or karaoke? Or maybe a trip to Pacific Mall?

Or maybe we can just have the group cosplay people get together to discuss more about what to do for Anime North?

Voting time! Say yes or no. And if yes, give a tentative day that you will be free during the break.

A day I'm free during the break is Saturday,Dec.27.

RE: Winter break get together?

YES!!! =D
sounds interesting and fun

I'm in Mississauga though, so going to scarbrough is a bit of problem for me (too time consuming) unless I get a ride
if anyone needs/wants to contact me...add me on MSN
you can PM me for my email

no real plans right now except parents telling me they want to take me south for a family vacation...which I'm not too fond of
AND
I have some friends who asked me to call them once exams are done and I'm back...but some how I think we're not gonna have the same free day to meet

Mississauga for me 2. We can go to Maki Maki in burnhamthorpe area in Golden Centre area. Does not cost as much ($12.99/person) and then there are special cards for more discount. Then we can all head to Square ONE for shopping! Pacific mall is a bit far for me X_X. I can go any date after 22nd of December ^_^. I can drive people within mississauga on the day of the event.

Scarbrough has better asian food (IMO anyways)
cheaper Karoke...as far as shopping goes

everywhere's about the same

well...let's see who's interested then find a place that's like middle ground for everyone

RE: Winter break get together?

Well, if you're willing to give rides, I don't mind coming. That is...if you are! Then we can hang out @ Pmall and first markham centre. Need to stock up on some Gundam manuals anyways and get some more info on models.

RE: Winter break get together?

um....I suggested toronto too? Like, downtown toronto? i'm sure that's accessible for everyone by ttc. i COULD give u a ride, but sauga's waaay too far for me (since i hail from sarsborough)

there's this AWESOME CHEAP karaoke place at yonge and finch. it's called yonge karaoke, and for a big room for about 3 hr, we only need to pay $10 each! i think....or i could be wrong....but the price is good!

and their menu is FILLED with anime songs. even recent ones! and lots of recent music too. they have chinese and korean too if anybody wants to sing those
