Hey!
Who has a design for a membership card for this coming term? Post 'em here! If your design is chosen as the term's design, we could probably scrounge up a free membership for you!
You can find here sort of what we're looking for (Warning, I'm graduating so I don't know how long my webspace will remain available). This is an unused card design from a couple years back, and shows off some (not all) of the necessary elements:
What it's missing and should be included in every design:
Be creative, and let's see those designs! You'll need to post them on the web and link to them. Post attachments are not permitted (as far as I can tell). So, all else fails: Flickr, ImageShack.us, or DeviantART
Don't worry about posting the print-ready version, that may be too big. Just a high-enough resolution that we can see your artistry.

- "CTRL-A" in at least one place, "Club That Really Likes Anime" somewhere nearby
- The Term's Designation (Spring 2004 in the example, we're looking for Spring 2008)
- Whitespace for Member's Name (Pawn), Exec Initial/Signature (Rook), Membership Number (Position)
- Print Size of 8cm x 5cm or possibly a little larger (measure a credit card and round down or just measure an old membership card)
What it's missing and should be included in every design:
- "ctrl-a.org" (preceding http:// and www. are optional)
- The design should be around 300dpi in its final form
