The week right now is so boring here on CTRL-A forums T__T... So I thought what I'd do was I'd begin our long talks as to what we could show for next term (also with the privilege of playing anything from Crunchy Roll)...

okay not really, I just wanted to say that.

But I agree with Gundam 00 (I have the first 9 eps on DVD as well) and Eden of the East.

Panty and Stocking...... I think maybe as a sampler, not continuing >_<

lol, we're going to have to give people warnings in advance if we're showing Panty and Stocking.

But it's only 13 episodes long... I think it should be okay as long as we give the audience the discretion. Something for students to relax to on a Friday night.

Ugh, let's not go with g00ndumb for a Gundam show. Please. I mean, there's a reason Menclave hasn't finished it. How about 8th MS? Or maybe some of Zeta for the real UC experience. Or, since Unicorn does such a good job except for the fake cel animation, we can just rewatch that a couple of times.

Eden of the East really shouldn't be shown unless we have the two movies, and since the second movie basically is just a two hour fest of boring text explaining nothing important, viewers are going to be /very/ disappoint.

I like how Mamoru Oshii gets on here with Sky Crawlers, but that movie is really not his peak. Millenium Actress, please.

Milky Holmes is quite a dubious choice. I can't speak from experience, but as an original Bushiroad idea, I wouldn't be surprised if it was more unintentionally than intentionally a good watch.

I don't know if P&S&G really fits the bill for "relaxing," but GAINAX is seriously lulz trolling the hell out of us. Better than having to watch a wansty Shinji for four two hour movies. If we do put this on, we need the _BODY BLOWING_ soundtrack to be blasted at the start.


So uh, /clearly/ guys, the best choice is Golgo 13. I mean, who doesn't want to see how 1mill yen was spent in 1983 on the most real, badass, srs bsns CGI helicopters for 30 seconds of exposure? I mean seriously.

Seriously.

Osamu Dezaki even made TWO movies. That should be enough to give any /a/ enough information to die satisfied. Truly was Mission Accomplished.
Section23 went out of their way to license the whole 50 episode TV series so we have at least another 20 hours of pure Golgo.

It's a shame LOGH isn't licensed, otherwise North America would be blessed with another 60 hours of awesome.

If your are continuing FMA:Brotherhood, I'll try to find a way to get the disks up to since it seems youtube has the eps to a certain point region blocked. -_- I'll check when I get home, on the train to Toronto from Ottawa at the moment and they blocked youtube. :p Still no job but still hoping to come for shows

I am with Moe's idea for showing the series as sampler and not as continuing series
If you really want to show it make it like a separate event for Ctrl-H
Because few of the episodes are really inappropriate like episode 6... and episode 8 is also at the border line.
That thing is even more inappropriate than last ep of Excel Saga

For girls' anime fan I recommend
Otome Yokai Zakuro from Crunchy roll
Only 13 episodes and it looks like a stereotypical shojyo manga but it has twists with characters.
It's a rare case of manga continuing anime series where the ending didn't totally suck.
Some action scenes are there and guys might be able to enjoy it too.

I object to it being lost!
