Those of you who showed up to the first meeting might remember that we were interested in showing Durarara!! as a backup for Kino's Journey. Problem was, we would have had to stream it from Crunchyroll, and we weren't sure if they'd play ball.

Well, after talking with them for a little bit, they seem to be more than happy to play with us, so much in fact that it seems they might be willing to give us a premium membership in order to help us screen their anime.

This presents us with a problem: I've already got permissions for us to show every continuing series we were planning to show, including our backup backup series. As a sign of goodwill and thanks, I think that we should really show Durarara!! as one of our main series. Crunchyroll is willing to give us a lot, we should give them something back.

So I want to ask you guys something. Right now, we have as continuing series:
Hajime no Ippo
.hack//ROOTS
Cromartie High
Nanoha
Kino's Journey

I'm asking which series, if any, we should axe in favour of showing Durarara!!. I know that all of these were voted in, but given the circumstances, I'd like to follow this through. Please vote in the poll. If an overwhelming number of people prefer to not axe anything, then I will try and work with Crunchyroll in order to keep things moving; it'd be a great resource for samplers, and perhaps simulcast nights.

That ALSO brings me to some awesome news. With Crunchyroll willing to grant permissions for the series they stream, we can now draw from a bigger library, and perhaps have simulcast nights, where we stay up and watch the anime as it airs in Japan (and North America). When suggesting titles for this term's samplers, keep in mind that we probably will have access to Crunchyroll's library!
Alternatively, if people really really really don't want to axe anything, and still want Durarara!! we can always turn a sampler slot into a continuing series slot... which means we'd have 3 continuing + 1 sampler on Friday, and 3 continuing + movie on Saturday.
A quick note, some people have voted assuming it was for a series they'd most prefer to see shown...
Bah, then they can't read...

EDIT: I put the word cancel in caps, hopefully that will catch their attention?
Regardless of a few people being confused, cromartie does have a lot of votes. We -have- shown it in previous terms (for best of shows and the like), so maybe it'd be the best choice?
Crap, I just notticed I didn't vote for Ippo... Its getting kinda old imo...

But yeah, there's a ton of votes for Chromartie.
