After you clock, instead of turning your card to the "defeated" position (ie upside down), you would play this card -from your hand-, and pay one cost from the stock. Your defending character would gain 2000 power, and my character would instead be defeated and turned upside down.
This doesn't mean that you don't get damaged, as the power levels are compared -after- damage has been dealt.

Nope, it can be used on any character, but, you have to be lvl 1 or higher to use it.

What does it mean by "this card gains level +1" ?
If it was a LVL 3, it becomes a LVL 4 due to the effect.
If it was a LVL 3, it becomes a LVL 4 due to the effect.
It's useful for preventing side attacks against it (I love the +level effect and want to build a deck focusing on that, with higher power cards as well)
It's there to prevent players from thrashing you with side attacks.
