I had this interesting art based activity idea come to mind. Get everyone to draw on seperate pieces of paper a single feature of a character/object/etc/whatevs so like an eyebrow or an nose or something. Then when that's done, move to a different piece of paper, and add 1 feature to that, until everyone has added a feature to everyone else's page.
Sounds like a fun idea, go for it =D
At first I thought you were gonna suggest have people each draw a different facial feature, and then put the face together to see what you'd get (I think one of the Haruhi novels had a game like this XD)
I actually got the idea when someone had drawn Yoshi's head on my don's whiteboard on his door, and then I added hair to it. Now to convince activities to do this on an activity meeting

Gundam + Dunbine = F91
Haven't seen F91, but I would have gone with Heavy Metal L-Gaim. Not that anyone aside from me is watching that. Kind of a weird cross between Star Wars, Gundam, and Dunbine. It's got light beam-sabre duels too! And fairies! Well, just one. Actually, I'm not sure what she's even doing in the show, except maybe as some weird tie-in with Dunbine. I guess it was all the rage in the early 80's for Gundam-related staff to put fairies into their other shows? Actually, the one franchise most similar to it is the Five Star Stories, but then there's a reason for that...
And while I'm thinking of it: Dunbine + Shoujo = Escaflowne?
Too much Gundam these days.
Needs more Macross. Everything needs more Macross. But that's just my opinion.
Anywho, getting back to the original conversation: it sounds like an interesting idea, but I think that a line might be too atomic of a drawing primitive to draw interest or to be able to construct something. I think the original suggestion of drawing an entire feature would be more workable. Well, maybe that's what was meant by drawing 'lines', and now I'm just padding the conversation with extra text.
