Basically, IMO, it's Shaman King and instead of being the king of shamans, it's to get the title of rave master. Everyone has their own unique weapons. The anime and manga was never read by me because it's a shaman king rip off.

Hmm, my friend gave me the op and ed songs so I wanted to watch them, be kept forgetting to bring them so I never got to watch it. Is it really just a Shaman King rip off, or does it have enough unique things to be uhh unique?

its people who break dance while fighting. No, I only saw parts of the manga and the parts were different dancers with weapons talking. Then there were games for it and it was a free for all battle between different characters.

the anime was garbage since they ended at about 1/3 of the entire story

I don't know why they changed the name to RAVE Master
but it's more of the one gorup saving the world type of thing
it's about the world beng terrorized by the criminal organization known as Demon Card (funny story about how that name came to be)
Demon Card uses magical stones known as Dark Brings (yes, the stones are evil)
the Dark Brings have the ability to even stand up to the millitary. The only thing that's strong enough to stop the dark brings is a 50 year old power known as the RAVE Stones. However, the stones are now scattered and Shiba (the original user) can no longer use them. So the new chosen boy Haru Glory must set out on a journey to find all 5 pieces of RAVE and use them to bring peace to the world
it sounds retarded...but the story gets better and better =D

not as over powered and a lot more in numbers
it's not so much one person taking on an army...more like a group taking on an army...well eventually there will be one/two people slaughtering armies...but those aren't exactly direct confrontations

Looking at rave master, I have not finished reading it but I just hope the ending is much better than Shaman King that ends halfway because of author's illness X_X
