As mentioned at the tail end of the meeting, I am planning on doing a "Best of" show at the end of this term, likely with a contest included, in the SLC Multi-Purpose room, or, ideally, the Great Hall. A movie to tail off the night might also be included. I need your suggestions as to what to play and volunteers to help do the show with me!

I'd like to have mainly comedic anime, but the odd serious one interspersed or shonen is fine. In reality, it just needs to be very good standalone episodes from series.

My current thoughts on what to show:

Nadesico Ep 2 (Dubbed), a personal favourite, there's a lot of good character play between akito and the captain in this one, plus Guy Daigoge is in it! Other episodes from this series stick out?

Azumanga Daioh (Chiyo-chan in penguin suit episode) (sub)

FMPFummofu (rugby ep) (sub)

Diebuster 1 (sub): this one would be played last, as it has (mild) nudity. Or we could just play an ep without nudity, they're all good, the first one would make the most sense though for newcomers to the series

Naruto (Kakashi's face or a Rock Lee ep) (sub) I'm no Naruto buff, but if someone else backs one of these up it's good to go.

Bleach (Ichigo vs. Byakuya) (sub) this runs 2 eps long, it may be undoable, but to me it was by far the best part of the series. Ichigo vs Kenpachi maybe? I don't remember it being super amazing, thoughts?

Cardcaptor Sakura: Leave it to Kero! OVA (sub) very funny, about 9 mins long

Cowboy Bebop (sub) plenty of good eps to pick off this one boys and girls

Ruroni Kenshin (Kenshin Vs. Saito, or Kenshin vs. Shishio) (sub) amazing fights, some of my personal faves

As the name suggests, I'll take the "best of" the recommendations. So far it's all up in the air. We'll probably also pick shows that we have permission for and access to.

I think you need to ETA that you need suggestions on licensed and released material.

why don't you compile a small list now and try to get license so you can show the "Best of" show asap. Give the list to kyle so we can get this on the road sooner. Can't wait for your show ^_^
