So I hope everyone enjoyed Show 2. Soon comes the time that I hope all of you (except those of you on co-op) enjoy, Reading Week! So because of that, events are light this week. Rather we have some forum annoucements that might interest you:
- Meeting - Monday 6:00PM, Feburary 8th at MC 4063 - Did the previous paragraph make it sound like I was going to not annouce any events? If so, please forget about that. We have a meeting this week, mostly just wrap up with Show 2, details about Show 3 maybe and maybe an activity.
- Office Hours - Wednesday 5:00PM, Feburary 10rd in SLC 2109 - You know the drill, show up, play some games
- Games Night - Friday 4:00PM, Feburary 12th, AL 211 - Theoretically we have one this week, but is anyone really going to be here the friday when Reading Week starts?
- Anime North Group Tickets - Josh has annouced a bit more details, the most likely deadline for applying is Feburary 22th. Check out the thread here for more details and updates as they come.
- Hobby Search Group order - Hobby Search has a 15%/20% sale going on and I am organizing a group order. The order will most likely be made on Monday Night or Tuesday Night depending on whether requested items seem to be likely to be sold out. Check out the thread here for more details and to place an order if you want.
- S4 League CTRL-C Clan - The S4 clan that hates food, if you play S4 or might be interested and want to play with us/join us if we take on the York Anime Club, come visit the thread here
And that's it for this week. Unless something pops up, I'll see you loyal readers? (There is more than 1 person who reads these things right?) after reading week.

Greetings again those who read the front page and don't skip directly to the forums! It's time for our second show of the term. It will also be a membership-only show, but don't worry if your not a member, memberships are sold at the door. $7 for frosh, $8 otherwise.
- Second Show - Friday 4:30PM, Feburary 5th in AL 116 and Saturday 2:30PM, Feburary 6th in MC 2056 - The show schedule is located here. If you want to go watch FASS, you can probably make the 10:00PM showing on Friday if you skip the last episode we show of Hajime no Ippo or to the 8:00PM showing on Saturday if you skip the FMA movie. For our dinner activity, resident activity officer David has some Anime Name that Tune lined up, with possibly a bit of "I stun the other team's warlock" mixed in to spice it up.
Also, if say, you want to watch only certain shows, feel free to bring any portable consoles or laptops and join the gaming corner for some quiet gaming for those shows you just don't feel like watching. Games played range from Maple Story, to Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, to Gundam vs Gundam Next PLUS, to Sengoku Rance - Anime North Trip - Over at the forums, VP Josh is organizing a trip/discounted group fees to AN. There arn't too many details right now, but go and check it out over here if your interested.
- Office Hours - Wednesday 5:00PM, Feburary 3rd in SLC 2109 - Same as always, maybe I should stop posting it all the time?
On another note, a few online stores specializing in japanese anime/otaku/modeling goods have sales running. You can check out the forum topics for them here and here.

I hope all of you are enjoying the new D.Gray-man and the Special Edition EtnaDisgaea posters that our publicity officer Paul put up around campus. Anyways, this week we don't have a show, but there's still plenty of stuff to do, including one of our sushi lunches this term!
Anyways, listing out the events coming up:
- Office Hours - Wednesday 5:00PM, Janurary 27th, SLC 2109 - Come hang out with Kyle, play some games, or check out our shared Office if you want.
- Games Night - Friday 4:00PM, Janurary 29th, AL 211? - It's our second Games Night of the term. Come out and play some various games or bring your own. I'll probably be bringing the hillarity known as Maid RPG and I bet there will be a ton of other stuff as well.
- SUSHI LUNCH! - Sunday 1:00PM, Janurary 31st, Ye's Sushi - It's our first sushi lunch this term. For those who love sushi, don't worry we are going to have this lunch and another one later on this term! For those who think the all-you-can-eat sushi produced by Ye's is a travesty of high quality sushi, then come anyways, it's cheap all-you-can-eat! For those who don't know, we'll be having Sushi at Ye's Sushi near Conestoga Mall. You can take the iXpress at DC north till you reach Conestoga. Ye's is right on the nearest intersection.
- General Meeting - Monday 6:00PM, Feburary 1st, MC 4063 - This will most likely be a business meeting to get everything set up for Show 2 which by the way is taking place next week. Also for those of you who want to change the meeting time to 5:00PM, this would be a perfect time to raise the issue.
On another note, there are 3 seperate gaming efforts that have started up. Check them out:
- David's Universal Century Gundam Forum RPG - Make Mobile Suit teams and fight each other!
- Kyle's Anémon Forum RPG - Make up some anime and fight each other (for ratings and stuff)!
- Martin's Card Battling Game! - Brought to you by the Infinity Gates circle while myself and the rest of the storywriters slack off :p
Well, this news post is getting long, but one more thing until I finish. According to the birthdays you guys typed into the forums, Happy Birthday Sam and be sure to say Happy Birthday to David on Friday

It's that time again, it's time for shows! We have a bunch of shows lined up this term. I believe the first show is free for all, so if your kind of wondering whether or not to join, come to the first shows this Friday and Saturday and check out what we show for yourselves.

For Saturday we'll be showing Kiddy Grade instead of D.Gray-man this show, continuing Toward the Terra and introducing Please Teacher! as another new continuing series. Don't forget to come watch our Movie this show, The Place Promised in Our Early Days by Makoto Shinkai, it's a great award winning movie by a man some people call "The New Miyazaki" (Can you tell who is the person who suggested it?). Check the show schedule for the showing times.
- Clubs Day - Thursday, Janurary 14th and Friday, Janurary 15th at SLC Great Hall - Come visit us on Clubs Day, you can find out about our other non-show activities and there will be cosplayers too!
