It's time for our last show of the term! But don't worry, this isn't the last you'll see of CTRL-A for this term. We still have alot of events left before exams. There is Anime Karaoke, one more Sushi Lunch, a few more Gaming Nights and our before exams Hot Pot! Though this post will be short as due to misc. problems, I've had to type this out three times >_<

• Meeting - Monday 6:00PM, March 8th at MC 4063 - Come and discuss Show 4 and any of the events to happen later. If your in a rush, come anyways, our Prez has a track record of concluding meetings at breakneck speed!
• Office Hours - Wednesday 5:00PM, March 10th at SLC 2109 - Come and hang out and play some games.
• Show 4 - Friday March 12th 4:30PM - 10:30PM at EIT1015 and Saturday March 13th 2:30PM - 8/10:30PM at AL116 - It's our final show for the term. We've got a ton of continuing series concluding so come out and watch the finales. The show schedule is available here (Before the Monday Meeting this will probably be incomplete). In addition, during the Saturday Dinner Break, watch the epic match between CTRL-C (CTRL-A Gaming Divison: We Hate Food) and YAMA (York Anime Club) in the game: S4 League!
• Anime Karaoke - Friday March 19th 4:30PM - 10:00PM in AL116 - We finally have a time and date so you can grind your singing skill to reduce your shame. Song Requests are still being taken on the forums here and you can also check out our awesome group songs like Nanairo no Nico Nico Douga.
• Hot Pot - Continuing our tradition from last term (Wait can something done only once be called a tradition?), I am holding the CTRL-A Hot Pot this year! Check out the forums to suggest food, snacks, games, activities and a good date to hold it.

In commemoration of our record shattering number of gold medals last week, this news post will be all gold themed! Which really only means something gold and anime related at the bottom in my signature really.
Well getting down to business, it's time for our delayed Show #3!

• Meeting - Monday 6:00PM, March 1st at MC 4063 - Want to know what we are watching at Show #3 exactly, come here to help decide. Most likely well also talk about other stuff too and there may or may not be an activity, let's just hope that if it's some form of group guessing game someone can managed to guess Tsundere after getting the hint that Twin Tails and Zettai Ryouki are close :p
• Office Hours - Wednesday 5:00PM, March 3rd at SLC 2109 - Anime Related Card Games galore... most likely, otherwise just the standard assortment of board games and such.
• Show 3 - Friday 5th 4:30PM - 10:30PM and Saturday 6th 2:30PM - 8/10:30PM at AL116 - Welcome to Show 3, the first show since the time Canada became the world record holder for most number of golds at the Winter Olympics. The show schedule is available here (Before the Monday Meeting this will probably be incomplete). Well for our 1 week wait, we have managed to get both shows in AL116 which this term seems to be a rarity. Also as a public annoucement to those in the gaming corner (including me >_<), please keep the noise down for those watching anime, thank you ^.^.

There is also a few events in the planning. I believe it is still possible to get in on the Anime North Group Tickets if you talk to Josh at the next Meeting Nope, sorry the Anime North Tickets have already been sent for. In addition, Peter is organizing the Anime Karaoke this term, go check out the thread here for more info and to make song requests. In addition the Hobby Search 2nd order has been placed and the AmiAmi order should probably have been placed by the time you read this.

I hope you guys all enjoyed reading week, unless you were in ECE like me, then I hope you effectively blocked out all your friends having fun during reading week while you prepared for Hell Week. So you'll have to forgive me for this late posting and probably an outdated calendar/upcoming block. Back to back midterms don't write themselves T_T.

Well, with that out of the way, we have a pretty plain week in terms of events this week, Show 3 has to be pushed back to next week due to booking issues. Though there are quite a few other things popping up online this week.

• Meeting - Monday 6:00PM, Feburary 22th at MC 4063 - Most likely we'll be talking about Show #3. Also Josh/Peter is accepting money for the Anime North group trip this meeting and those who have ordered from Hobby Search can pick up their goods.
• Office Hours - Wednesday 5:00PM, Feburary 24th in SLC 2109 - Show up, play some games, hang around.
• Games Night - Friday 4:00PM, Feburary 26th, AL 211 - Come have a night filled with games, for those of you in ECE, bask in a job well down or drown your sorrow of failing your midterms. There will probably be alot of card games going around as lots of people just got CHAOS and Weiss Schwarz cards.
• Anime North Trip - If you want to get cheap group fares for Anime North, show up at the upcoming Meeting and give the money to Josh or Peter. More info can be found here
• Hobby Search Group order - I am making a second order as the sale got extended and a bunch of stuff got restocked. If you want to make an order, tell me at the meeting or post here
• AmiAmi Group order - Our resident Gundam is also making an order at AmiAmi on the 25th, if you want to make an order, check out the thread here

So I hope everyone enjoyed Show 2. Soon comes the time that I hope all of you (except those of you on co-op) enjoy, Reading Week! So because of that, events are light this week. Rather we have some forum annoucements that might interest you:

• Meeting - Monday 6:00PM, Feburary 8th at MC 4063 - Did the previous paragraph make it sound like I was going to not annouce any events? If so, please forget about that. We have a meeting this week, mostly just wrap up with Show 2, details about Show 3 maybe and maybe an activity.
• Office Hours - Wednesday 5:00PM, Feburary 10rd in SLC 2109 - You know the drill, show up, play some games
• Games Night - Friday 4:00PM, Feburary 12th, AL 211 - Theoretically we have one this week, but is anyone really going to be here the friday when Reading Week starts?
• Anime North Group Tickets - Josh has annouced a bit more details, the most likely deadline for applying is Feburary 22th. Check out the thread here for more details and updates as they come.
• Hobby Search Group order - Hobby Search has a 15%/20% sale going on and I am organizing a group order. The order will most likely be made on Monday Night or Tuesday Night depending on whether requested items seem to be likely to be sold out. Greetings again those who read the front page and don't skip directly to the forums! It's time for our second show of the term. It will also be a membership-only show, but don't worry if your not a member, memberships are sold at the door. $7 for frosh, $8 otherwise.

• Second Show - Friday 4:30PM, Feburary 5th in AL 116 and Saturday 2:30PM, Feburary 6th in MC 2056 - The show schedule is located here. If you want to go watch FASS, you can probably make the 10:00PM showing on Friday if you skip the last episode we show of Hajime no Ippo or to the 8:00PM showing on Saturday if you skip the FMA movie. For our dinner activity, resident activity officer David has some Anime Name that Tune lined up, with possibly a bit of "I stun the other team's warlock" mixed in to spice it up.
  Also, if say, you want to watch only certain shows, feel free to bring any portable consoles or laptops and join the gaming corner for some quiet gaming for those shows you just don't feel like watching. Games played range from Maple Story, to Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, to Gundam vs Gundam Next PLUS, to Sengoku Rance
• Anime North Trip - Over at the forums, VP Josh is organizing a trip/discounted group fees to AN. There arn't too many details right now, but go and check it out over here if your interested.
• Office Hours - Wednesday 5:00PM, Feburary 3rd in SLC 2109 - Same as always, maybe I should stop posting it all the time?
