It's almost the end of the term. We're having our last Friday show July 25th in MC 2065, starting at 4:30pm. We'll be finishing up all the series we've started. Feel free to show up early and help set up. The schedule is posted. There is going to be a paper survey at the show. If you can't make it to the show and would still like to fill one out, there will be an online version soon.

There's a general meeting today Monday July 14th, in MC2038, at 6pm. After club-related discussion (which you're more than welcome to join in), there will be Anime Bingo! Also, we have a survey where you can voice your opinions of the club. Doughnuts or timbits will be provided.
WAFL night is still running this Wednesday. We're showing Get Backers, Prince of Tennis, A Little Snow Fairy Sugar, Jubei-chan 2, and other things Amanda feels like showing. Come join us, it's a lot of fun, especially with the commentaries we come up with

If you'd rather watch anime during the week, we still have WAFL night on Wednesday nights in MC 4044 starting at 5pm. We started a couple of new series like Prince of Tennis and Jubei-chan 2.
On Thursdays from 4-6 in the SLC 2105, our VP is holding office hours. We just finished watching Fantastic Children, not sure what he's showing next. Show up and find out.
Then on Friday July 11th, it is our Anime Karaoke Night! It will be in AL 116 from 4:30ish to 10pm. There's still time to send in what you want to sing, either post on the forum thread or email prez@ctrl-a.org. If you don't want to sing, that's okay, you're welcome to come and watch. It should be a fun-filled night!

Are you excited for the long weekend? If you're looking for something anime-related to do, there's a couple of events planned for Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday June 28th, there is a Bastard (6 ep series) marathon in MC 2066 from 1:00pm-4:20pm; then stick around afterwards for Amateur Production - College Saga.
And then on Sunday June 29th, we're holding an "Anime Games Extravaganza"! There will be lots of fun mini-anime-related-games, like Anime Name that Tune, Trivia, Pictionary etc. There are prizes to be won. The time is 12pm-6pm in MC 2066. So come out and have some fun!!
--------Don't forget that WAFL night is tonight, we're finishing up Hikaru no Go and Jubei-chan, starting new series (like Bottle Fairy, I think) and continuing others. 5pm-9:30pm, MC4044 as always.
